Understated and unusual bar style necklace featuring golden rutilated quartz and a stunning baroque pearl. Rutile quartz is clear quartz with needle like rutile inclusions that can be golden, red or black in colour. Normally inclusions in a stone will reduce the value, but rutile inclusions are unusual and give a beautiful effect, so increase the appeal and value of the quartz. I have used very fine square bead slices to build the bar, giving the section a subtle honey coloured glow. In the centre is a gorgeous irregular baroque pearl with a stunning lustre. The bar is hung on a substantial sterling silver with gold vermeil plated belcher link chain.
Chain length available in 16 or 18 inches.

Stacked Rutile Quartz Bar Necklace
All items would benefit from a gentle wipe down with a soft cloth after each wear. Pearls are porous and absorb chemicals like perfumes, fake tan, even oil from your skin. This will dull the lustre over time, so allow beauty products to settle before putting on your jewellery. The old saying 'Last thing on, first thing off' is very true! Silver and gold vermeil can be cleaned with a silver cloth or a delicate liquid or foam cleaner. Pearls are recommended to be re-strung every few years.
