Understated and unusual bar style necklace featuring golden rutilated quartz and freshwater baroque pearl. I have used very fine square rutile quartz bead slices to build the bar, giving the sections a subtle honey coloured glow. In the centre is a glowing white baroque pearl with a stunning lustre. The bar is hung on a substantial gold vermeil plated belcher link chain.
Each piece I make is truly a one off due to the nature of the stones, both in shape and availability. I don't follow trends or mass produce, I create using gemstones that draw me in, the beauty of the nature that made them and the urge to create from what I find. Jewellery with meaning, made by me, worn by you!
Chain length available in 16 or 18 inches.

Rutile quartz- A clear quartz with needle like rutile inclusions that can be golden, red or black in colour. Normally inclusions in a stone will reduce the value, but rutile inclusions are unusual and give a beautiful effect, so increase the appeal and value of the quartz. Historical folklore viewed the internal threads as sacred strands of hair from Goddesses such as Venus or Freyja.
This item comes in it’s own gift box, wrapped in tissue. Beautifully presented as a gift for yourself or to a loved one.
